Working Moms: Let’s inspire each other!

We're looking for working moms to interview for a new podcast on the challenges and delights of being a working mom. The host is a fellow working mom and promises to do her best to make what could be an intimidating experience instead a fun, thoughtful, and encouraging one! There are no wrong answers – our hope is to explore the variety of paths working moms have taken as a way to honor your individuality as well as your family. If during the process, we can shed light on any challenges we face, we think that’s where we can really learn and grow to support one another as a community.

Criteria for podcast guests:

  • You manage the majority of your household finances
  • You are excited to discuss how you approach work life 'balance' as a working mom
  • You had a child within the last 5 years
  • You work part-time or full-time (both before you had a child and after)
  • Available to record an interview virtually

Examples of some questions you may be asked

(reminder: NO WRONG ANSWERS!):
  • What was your work-life 'balance' before kids? After kids?
  • Pregnancy vs postpartum vs now: how did you feel towards working?
  • How did you take your family bonding leave, if you did?
  • How does your mental health and identity relate to being a working mom?
  • Have your financial decisions been influenced by having kids?
  • How did you learn what works for you?

  • What drives you to stay home?
